BROADMEADOWS boy turned gender-bending international supermodel Andrej Pejic, has become a trans woman called Andreaj after undergoing sexual reassignment surgery earlier this year.
The once androgynous supermodel who grew up in Melbourne, has spoken candidly for the first time about her decision, wanting to come out and be honest with the public.
“I identify as a female,” Pejic told Style.com.
“Ultimately, my biggest dream was to be a girl.
“SRS (sexual reassignment surgery) is kind of the last part — it’s sort of the icing on the cake. “It makes me feel freer than ever. Now I can stand naked in front of a mirror and really enjoy my reflection. And those personal moments are important.”
